  • last delivery before halloween, still time to get a spooky pumpkin or a carving one: warty, white, pink dolls + jack-be-littles. plus halloween radishes (yes, that's their real name)

  • cold nights upstate = sweeter greens. baby kale, spinach + spicy second-cut arugula

  • brussels sprouts are finally here, big and beautiful

  • citrus is starting: cara cara, yuzu, buddha's hand, kumquats, meyer + pink lemons

  • fresh crop of evercrisps, winesaps have been killer

  • new potatoes, fresh dug: peter wilcox, red maria + heirloom mix

  • winter squash: eat the early ones now (delicata, acorn, honeynut), they don't keep long. the keepers (kabocha, butternut, hubbard) get sweeter as they cure

  • radicchio season: treviso, chioggia, castelfranco, puntarelle

  • the hot peppers are still hot peppering: habanero, fresno, aji dulce, shishito. still time to do whatever it is you like to do with them
